DssW Power Manager 3 works well with Mac OS X 10.6, aka Snow Leopard.
As with all significant Mac OS X upgrades, we recommend you install a fresh copy of Power Manager after upgrading. This ensures all required files are available and untouched by the upgrade process.
While it “works” with SL, it closes and reopens System Preferences as as 32-bit vs. 64-bit program. Maybe I’m missing something?

John, with regard to relaunching System Preferences in 32 bit mode, this is expected and normal.
Only critical parts of Power Manager are built as quad 64 bit and 32 bit editions. We strive for stability and aim to reduce critical changes between minor versions.
Power Manager 3 works well with Mac OS X 10.4, Mac OS X 10.5, and Mac OS X 10.6 on both PPC and Intel chip sets, and in 32 bit and 64 bit environments.
Thanks for the reply. Hope the development continues to 64 bit. It’s a great app!
