Hi!
Strange problems on 333mhz Lombard:
When powerbook gets power from adapter (before I turn it on), green led turns on and stays on, and power button doesn't react - so boot is imposible, screen is dark.
It takes several plugging in and out for powerbook to became normally turned of, then I can turn it on.
At the same time (but not necessarily connected ?!), another problem: I had OS 8.5.1 (because I replaced hard from older powerbook), and Lombard used to boot from this system, even though it shouldn't boot form 8.5.1 and there was 9.2.2 installed. Startup disc control panel didn't help, so I removed older OS.
Now it seems processor at first can't find the OS. On power up, there's "?" icon and some nasty clicking of hard drive. It boots after 15 sec. or so.
Any ideas will be appreciated...

If you haven't done so already try resetting the Power Manager and the PRAM. I forget the the exact way to to these, but you can find instructions on the Apple site. Finally, if you replaced the hard disk, the driver may still have information from the previous system. I would try reformatting it.
