(As in cooling fan).
My MacBook Pro 2.16 Hz Intel Core Duo sometimes has this annoying rattling coming from the left speaker that sounds like an overworked fan. It may be that it is running out of alignment and/or hitting some wires or something. Is there a quick fix to this? I could just open up my MacBook with some screwdrivers, but I thought I'd post here first to see if anyone had something similar happen to them and if they can offer some kind of quick fix to this?
Thanks.

Most likely the fan's bearing is going bad. I'd replace it. You could try getting some lubricant into it, but that won't be easy...
