MBP fan failed

Well, my MBP has had one of the fans making intermittent 'wobbling' sounds as though a bearing has gone - started just before christmas. Now the fan has stopped completely, so it's off to apple for repair. Unfortunately, I don't think it's a mail-in repair, so it'll have to go to a 'local' applecentre, which they estimate will take 10 days.
