PC power supply in G4

   and has been a problem for some time particularly in hot weather. I think Apple should have had a recall

   Has anyone tried the SCM adapter and could they please comment

   The G4 I'm referring to is the tower/desktop.

   Yes, but there were several different models of G4 tower - Sawtooth, Yikes, MDD, etc.
