Wireless Keyboard/Mouse Battery Life

Hi!

My new Intel iMac 17" has a wireless keyboard and mouse. How long should I expect the batteries to last?

The two mouse batteries seem to need changing about every two months. I have never changed the four keyboard batteries.

My keyboard one is just running out after almost 1 year. I would also say that it depends on how much you use it, and overall the mouse is also used a lot more then the keyboard.

You've answered your own question in relation to the mouse. The keyboard lasts much longer ... I can't remember the last time I changed batteries but I think it was about 6 months ago, and it still shows 3 out of 5 bars on the indicator. (System Preferences/Keyboard & Mouse/Bluetooth)
