Dan took the time to get to know Power Manager and his review picks up on some of the product’s more subtle features: Power Manager’s stricter definition of “inactivity” over Apple’s “idle time” makes schedules easier to predict, and small touches like waking a sleeping Mac to ensure the scheduled event occurs on time.

This makes Power Manager especially useful in environments—classrooms, labs, a child’s computer—where you want to make sure your schedules are followed.
