Well, I'm certainly interested in it. A1175 is the serial number on my battery. You may recall me in earlier posts describing the machine operating 'in fire-hazard mode', and also laughing hollowly at the claimed battery performance figures.

Mine's just about to be shipped back to Apple after burning out its second disk drive. Before I do, I'm going to re-raise the buzzing noise which the logic swap failed to address, and also mention this battery issue.

Grrr....

They insist that the battery is "not a safety risk" :-)

Yes, you ought to mention the battery's serial number.

I'll let you know if the latest board revisions fix the buzzing. Mine was shipped off on friday, so should be back in the next few days.
