17" imac won't recover from sleep mode

Approximately 2 weeks later, the computer wouldn't recover from sleep mode.

Hi, I recently purchased a 17" Imac, 1.25 Mhz with OSX 10.2.8 pre-installed...Upgraded to Panther..Approximately 2 weeks later, the computer wouldn't recover from sleep mode. Tried everything including Apple Support. Was told to take it for service. To ake a long story short, tech reset logic board. That resolved the problem for a day. Then the logic board was replaced. That resolved the problem for 10 days. Same problem again, computer goes to sleep, and won't recover. I can hear the computer booting up, but I don't have a display.. Any suggestions??

You might try the "erase and install" option when upgrading to Panther. If you got the cheesy CD's that don't allow that. Then I would make them take the computer back and give you a new one, obviously something is wrong with it, and they have tried to fix it a couple of times to no avail.
