dual 2.0 G5 fans always on

the logic board was replaced, and ever since the fans run at nearly full throttle - constantly

I have done little, I did check that the plastic and metal 'doors' are seated correctly.

the OS is up to date (10.3.9) and there are no firmware updates pending according to software update.

any help is appreciated - thanks

Whoever replaced the logic board probably failed to do the required thermal recalibration. The software to do this is only available to Apple-authorized repair centers, so that's where you'll have to take the G5.

Get it repaired.
