G4 cube shuts down all by itself!

Message #1 - Posted 2001/07/24 - Bill Leith

My new G4 Cube shuts down without warning... and will also power-up on its own if not turned-off at the ups. Is this a hardware problem (with the switch???)... ANybody else have this bug? Also, it seems to happen more when the room is warm (~80 deg.F).

Does it do so at specific and consistent times? There is a part of the Energy Saver control panel where you can set automated power-up/down times.

This is a known problem with some Cubes. Check out
