Can someone refresh my memory as to how to disable the P.O.S.T.?
I want to do it while I boot from an OS 9.2.1 CD and hope that the disabling will stay in effect after I re-boot into OS 8.1.
However it is that you do it (I only remember that you have to hold down the option key while selecting some menu option), it can't be done in OS 8.1. And with lots of ram (I have 768 MB) it's a long wait every time I start my Mac. TIA.

Hold down Option and Command, and go to Control Panels->Memory.
