Hi all, as of the past week, my display will no longer go to sleep according to my settings in "Energy Saver". Right now I have it set to sleep in 1 minute - but the display always remains active. Is there a way to instantly set the display to sleep? I know how to set the computer to sleep by clicking on the apple icon, then sleep, but I would like to leave the harddrive running.

For instance, is there a way I can go to the consol/ternimal and type a command that would set the monitor/display to sleep?

Thanks, Novice

You might be able to do it with the pmset command (by setting the sleep timer to zero, or near-zero)... haven't tried though. Type 'man pmset' in the console for details.
