Hey all-
I have an original ibook that has a busted keyboard. I called Apple, and they are sending me a new one, but before that they had me go through a pretty thorough reset, including taking out the battery, hitting the hidden reset button, etc. Well, we decided it really was the keyboard and I put the battery back in and plugged the computer into the outlet. The color is amber, i.e. charging, and has been so for almost 24 hours. I unplugged the power, turned it on, and the battery reports as being half full!
Should I be concerned and thinking I need a new battery as well? It was working perfectly well before all the resetting (not all the keys are busted, so using the mouse was still possible and I was able to get a little work done).
