ibook won't wake from sleep or restart? OSX10.2.8, dual usb, 14in.

contol, command, power does not cause restart and
hitting any key does nothing.

It just sleeps with the indicator light pulsating.

Any ideas, other than taking it into the Apple Store?

Had the same thing once, turned out the battery was at 0%. Plugging in the adapter solved it for me.

Mine will do this if the battery is too low. You plugged into AC power?

Yes, I was and am plugged into ac power when it went to sleep. BUT, it awoke after I momentarily unplugged the ac power and then hit a key.

Thanks for the tip, hint or magic.
