Laptop battery usage and care?

Is it better to actually use it, and let it drain down a little, or do I just use the power adapter whenever I can?

There's going to be long periods where the iBoko will be sat in the living room feeding my iTunes to the hifi, and will be using mains power.

I'm just concerned that this might not do the battery much good.

Li-ions are best kept fully charged. Apple recommends a full discharge once a month. This server only to 'calibrate the power manager', which is of no use, since correct estimates of 'time left' are irrelevant in your case.

Just leave it on and don't worry,

Jan
