Mini dies in its sleep

At least, you get the screen up but either there's no cursor or there is one and it moves, but everything else is frozen, including the clock.

Attempts to ping from an iBook on the LAN just gives "Host is down". Everything seems fine if I don't sleep it.

I boot off a partition on an external LaCie Mini-shaped firewire drive.

I have:

  1. Repaired permissions (a few changes needed)

  2. Repaired all disks, both of which needed repairs according to Disk Utility but its happy with them now.

I also ran TinkerTool System and made it run the maintenance scripts and a few other things.

I'll see how that goes. Is there anything else that it would be wise to do at this stage?

Thanks,

[snip work done]

If it still does it, try a fresh user without any non-sys stuff running in the background.
