Can anyone give me an estimate of what it costs to run a G5 single processor plus a 26 inch Hitachi plasma screen (set to go into standby after 1 min) for a typical day's usage, at a typical domestic electricity rate? Say G5 on for 10 hours, screen on for 4-5 hours.

It's a bit tricky to say without more details relating to item consumption (are you sure it's a plasma TV?), use and your tariff. My guess* would be about 50p/day. My iMac (2.4/24") costs about 20p per 10 hours, screen on continuously.
