PowerBook won't wake up

I can hear the CD drive being accessed at that time as it tries to wake up, but then it gives up and goes back to sleep.

The PowerBook is plugged into AC power, the display is open, and it is sleeping. Energy Saver preferences Schedules (on Power Adapter) is scheduled to wake up the system at 6 a.m. I can hear the CD drive being accessed at that time as it tries to wake up, but then it gives up and goes back to sleep.

Why won't it wake up?

OS X Console log entry for that time is pasted below.

PowerBook G3/400; OS X 10.3.8
