Hello

I have a weird problem on my G4/500 running 9.2.1 (It also happened under 9.0.1 and 9.1.) The problemis that whenever I select Sleep from the Menu or the system sleeps by itself, it will not wake up again!

I ran Conflict Catcher and it gave the following report:

The problem exists when these file(s) are enabled together:

Loc Filename ==== =============================== EXTN ATI Radeon 3D Accelerator EXTN Heidelberg CMM EXTN NSL UI Library EXTN USB Authoring Support EXTN Sound Manager CTRL Apple Menu Options

I narrowed it down further and it seems that Apple Menu Options that is the culprit, since when I look at it in Conflict Catcher, it says:

Warning! This file is using more memory in the system heap at startup than it is requesting. You may want to try disabling this file if you are experiencing problems with your system.

It seems like a bug in Apple Menu Options. What should I do? Is anyone else having this problem?

If I disable (since i don't really care about these):

EXTN ATI Radeon 3D Accelerator EXTN Heidelberg CMM EXTN NSL UI Library EXTN USB Authoring Support

and enable one of:

EXTN Sound Manager CTRL Apple Menu Options

It wakes up ok. If I enable both of these it fails to wake up!

I just checked on another Mac running 8.6 and Apple Menu Options gives the same text in CC, but everything seems to work ok, e.g. it sleeps and wakes ok. Anyone got any ideas on this one?

I really would like to be able Apple Menu Options and Sound Manager and Sleep all working ok!

Thanks in advance Phlebas
